Chester Nguyen - CEO/Owner
18+ Years Industry Experience
Chester has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Before starting his 9 years in the electronics manufacturing industry, he spent the first few years after graduation writing test scripts and programs for companies such as NVIDIA, Creative Labs, and Ixia. Chester was brought into Texas Prototypes as the SMT programmer and process engineer to help establish and grow the quick-turn circuit boards assembly process. After a few years of developing and fine-tuning a proficient process, Chester became the lead program manager for three years where he created a dynamic environment and catapulted the company to becoming leaders in placing new and complex components. Texas Prototypes went through an assortment of company transitions and acquisitions over the years and was also known as TXP and Asymblix. Chester was the key component in the acquisition of Asymblix by Circuitronics, Inc, where he became the Director of Prototype Services. He created, organized, and directed the quick-turn services at Circuitronics, also known as Action Services, which consisted of a fast, technical and high-skilled team specialized in complex designs

Cuong Nguyen - Owner
29+ Years Industry Experience
Cuong has 20+ years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry. He began his career at Hitachi Semiconductor USA where he worked as an assembly engineering from 1982-2003. He then spent a year at RF Monotlithics Inc as a process engineer and worked with the teams from Germany and Austria to develop the TX and RX lines for mass production. The company was acquired by Murata Manufacturing Co and Cuong chose to pursue an opportunity at Chorum Technologies in 2004 as an optical process engineer where he managed a highly technical and experienced team for three years. The focus of his group was dicing crystals for MUX and DEMUX subsystems for prototypes and low and high volume production. Cuong became a production manager at Texas Prototypes to establish and grow the quick-turn circuit board assembly process. Texas Prototypes went through an assortment of company transitions and acquisitions over the years and was also known as TXP and Asymblix. Circuitronics acquired Asymblix where Cuong continued to be a production manager and process engineer for the prototype division as well as managing SMT for the company.
